We did a 3 night Carnival earlier this year to try after just doing Disney previously and would have no problem doing another one!

How nice having 2 planned in 1 trip

If you haven't already seen it, read the sticky at the top of the first page, which I wrote a number of years ago and JSP added to. Not sure why the photos are no longer showing.

On cruise critic there is a whole forum dedicated to Carnival.

There is one thread called something like tips on Carnival that has useful info.

If you are travelling out if Miami pay for faster to the fun, well worth the money.

I have now completed three Carnival cruises, Sunshine, Breeze and Vista.

After three I got a bit fed up with them, as they were all the same, food, entertainment, layout of ship etc. So I tried NCL last year which I enjoyed too.

I would happily cruise with them again and offer excellent value for money. The only thing I don't like is the price of their drinks package, very expensive and they never offer a 'free' drinks package.

Enjoy your cruises.

Our waiters this year were just so funny and entertaining, as well as being so attentive and very efficient. Our daughter is a very picky vegetarian and they went above and beyond to get chef to make meals for her. Cabins spotlessly clean and lovely towel animals. We went to the demo to learn how to make them and didnt do so well !
Aww, I can clearly see that your animal is an elephant, Jo!

Oh I KNOW! So expensive the drinks packages! We just bust bought our drinks package for our Royal Caribbean cruise and thought THAT was expensive before the sale, Carnival is quite a bit more on top!

and thanks, off to look at the sticky
