Everglades

We were thinking of going to the everglades but seems a long day and v expensive when you do the everglades/naples excursion. Do they have an excursion to the everglades only?

I've never been to either the everglades or Naples. If it's an airboat ride that you want to experience you might like to look at boggy creek. It's much nearer and cheaper. bcairboats/

i did the everglades/naples day trip, and while it is a long trip, it was well worth doing. the buses are so comfy that it's easy to take a nap, or you can watch a dvd, so we didn't even notice the time passing.

We went there in 1998 for a week after 2 weeks at disney. It is such a lovely place, really pretty and the everglades is amazing lots of gators (yay!). If you do go, take bug spray with you as the mossies are everywhere. We went on a tour/airboat trip and I came back from that with over 20 bites.
