Definitely the asiest way to do it, travel agents will just charge you more to cover their costs.
Bear in mind if you book a value resort (Pop) you will get the free 'breakfast' QS plan, which gives you 1CS credit a day (not just for breakfast despite it's name). You can pay the difference at time of booking to upgrade to the regular QS plan or even the full TS plan, but you may find that booking CBR is more cost effective as this is a moderate resort and you will get the regular QS plan included for free (which of course you can still upgrade at the time to the full TS plan).

Got free DDP with ocean florida for 2018. I think the offer is only for stays at moderate and deluxe resorts though.

Really? Are they anticipating Disney offering it or is it their own offer? Disney haven't released free dining yet and we won't know if they will until nearer the time.

Knowing how TAs work they'll say they're offering it to you and then if it doesn't get released they'll say they did nothing of the sort or small print will screw you. This happened our friends who booked with Thomas cook and cos they booked before free dining Thomas cook wouldn't then give them free dining even though they originally said they would.

Which is one of the many reasons I book direct. I don't trust a TA that lets you book an offer that hasn't been confirmed yet.

Hi, I've also been getting a few quotes for 2018. Ocean Florida gave a quote with no mention of the plan. Disney was showing the normal purchase price and Charter Travel emailed me back advising that I hang fire until April when the details will be released in case it covers my dates thus getting more for my money - I thought that was really good of them.

For those that have managed to get DDP for 2018 with Ocean Florida, do you mind me asking how much you are paying? Interested to know if they increase the cost over paying direct.
