Royal Caribbean July 2018 Cruisers Discount Watch

I know that some of us are sailing on Royal Caribbean during July 2018. At present (October 2017) there has been no discount on the drinks package etc. When the discount does come and it will come at some point it will only be for a few days. This may be Black Friday it may be next April no-one knows. I am checking a couple of times a week and will post here when my cruise is discounted. If others could do the same then many eyes are better than one.

The last sentence doesn't make much sense but I understood it when I wrote it.

Just to be clear this is for Royal Caribbean in July 2018. Expanding it to other cruise line or different months doesn't make sense that they are not connected.

Great idea. I'm also on cruise critic so will keep an eye out there as sometimes they put a thread on about discounts.
We're sailing in Navigator in August. Are there enough of us to set up an August thread as well?

I would have suggested more months but it would confuse the whole thread as RCI do tend to go month by month with their discounts rather than an across the board discount.

There is a sale on today no idea If it’s actually a good deal. 1/2 price for 2nd passenger plus free deluxe drinks package

Bev. Not the same sale. We have booked but waiting for the percentage reduction they do at some point for drinks package. The current sale for new bookings actually isn’t that good. They just move the deckchairs on the titanic to get the prices. Although that may be a bad analogy.

Completely agree as the headline price is never close to the price. For RCI having watched them for a couple of year the price always ends up roughly the same no matter what offer they have on. They just change the price of the different components.

It can make a difference depending on the type of cruise. We jumped this year for the 30% discount with the free Southampton parking and free wi-fi as it suited us. Last year the free flights was our best option as we were flying from Scotland. It also helped to make them responsible for getting us to the ship from the airport and for any delays.

They will have a sale on their drinks. meal packages and excursions. We dont do their excursions as even with discount they are way overpriced compared to what you can get locally. Whatever you do don't wait till you get onboard as the price is far higher.

We are on Harmony in August. Will keep an eye on this thread as I presume if they launch a special on drinks package for July chances are it will stretch to Aug too!

Is free flights a common offer, as being in Newcastle that would definitely benefit us.
