Silver Springs Rodeo - Friday Nights
In the porcess of putting our plan together for our first trip to orlando (me,wife and 2 girls aged 6 & 12). Found details of this regular rodeo on a friday nights, anyone any experience of going what is like etc.. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I would be interested in hearing views about this too.
I think it should be Silver Spurs rodeo. As far as I know there is not a rodeo at Silver Springs. |

the kissimmee rodeo is on every friday night, here is some info, its not the silver spur rodeo, that one isnt on as regularly.

The KSA Rodeo is a locally run event and is on every Friday at the Kissimmee arena located down Hoaglands Blvd. Look for the money off coupons in the discount coupon booklets.
The Silver Spurs Rodeo is a twice yearly run event and is one of the top ten rodeos in the US. This Rodeo is held at the nice new Convention centre on the 192, on the East side of Kissimmee. silverspursrodeo

Did this on our last night in June 2004 - must admit we were disappointed - overly slow.
Some of the young riders were great but at times I felt sorry for the young calves. Don't plan on eating there - unless you like boiled peanuts! To sum it up - it's a bit 'hick' ! Ruth |
