magic kingdom best time for dinner
I am just about to call to make our dining reservations and wondered what time would be best for a magic kingdom dinner reservation? we go in may and would like to get to the park, have dinner and have a bit of time before the fireworks/celebrate the magic. what would you recommend?
thanks in advance |

It's hard to answer definitively, as there are so many factors to think about. How many people are there? The more people the longer it will take to eat, be served etc. What are the ages of your group? Do you have kids that take ages to eat or people who savour their meal? Is it a sit down meal or a buffet? Sit down and waiter service will be longer than a buffet. Also, how long do you like to find the perfect spot to watch celebrate the magic and wishes? Most people stake out their spot of the pavement well before the shows and parades begin.
All of that being said, we've eaten at be our guest for dinner and it was about 2 hours, we had an 8.05pm reservation waited approx 15 mins to sit and eat. There were 4 of us 2 adults and 2 kids, we had mains and desserts, we met the beast at the end of the meal and we came out just before wishes started at 10pm. We've eaten at Crystal palace for dinner, had a 7.15pm reservation and we came out just as the electrical parade began at 9pm. When we ate at cinderellas royal table it was about 1hour 30mins as we didn't have to wait around for the reservation. Hope this helps,

we are a group of 4 adults and the reservation is for be our guest, i think the fireworks start earlier in may don't they? as it says the park closes at 9? would hate to get this wrong. Do you have to wait until the end to meet the beast as this is what she really wants to do.

Looking on mde I think wishes is at 9pm in May. I think the meet and greet is at the end as it's in a separate room off the side of the dining room. It's not like other character buffets where they come round to your table. It's great fun though and you get the photos too.
