Cheaper Days

What do you all tend to do on your holiday when you are looking for a cheaper day and dinner?
Just looking for ideas on cheaper but still nicer places to eat towards the end of our first week, we try to have a few cheap days ready for a big push the final week for spends lol

We were on a budget this year and a couple of times we did Golden Corral for 4 adults we paid about $45 with coupons, cicis for about $20 when we wanted a cheaper day. We also used coupons for 20% off dennys, Perkins which meant other days we could have some more expensive meals.

If we wanted a cheaper day we would probably breakfast in the villa, take rolls for lunch for me and DH and get hot dog for DS and either eat in the villa in the evening or takeaway pizza or Ci Cis all you can eat pizza buffet.

Chuys. Cost just over $50 for 4 of us including drinks. Also had the leftovers boxed up so had them for breakfast so even better value...

Most restaurants do a cheaper lunch menu, I think Chillis do starter to share plus two entrees for $20. Texas Roadhouse does cheaper lunches and Cracker Barrel also. We are hoping to do some lunches this time as I prefer to eat earlier then have a snack in the evening. I believe Walmart does a massive cooked pizza for under $10. We paid a lot for a papa johns last time so will be looking elsewhere now.

Chinese take out is usually good value as the portions are huge.

We love Chillis and have found some other places to eat which look lovely and also inexpensive. Plenty of vouchers going for new sign ups to their eclubs aswell.

We ate at Applebee's and although we didn't eat from
It their 2 for $20 deal is really good. 2 entrees and 1 appetiser for $20. Plus free refills on soft drinks and they were doing 2 for 1 on Drinks too. We also ate at Wendy's and had a McDonald's one evening, their meals are huge compared to here so the kids shared a 10 piece nugget meal and a drink, there's no way they would have eaten and drank it all each so we saved money there!

Teak's really good value and the food is still really good.
