I've been trying for ages to learn the age old ancient skill of plaiting sawdust but I can't seem to get the hang of it, I'm a trier though ...

I've been learning Italian the last few weeks in preparation for our booked, (but may well not take place now), trip to Italy this year.

I'm really enjoying it. On the bright side if I can't go till next year I should be able to speak a few more words by then.

We’ve been meaning to learn Portuguese since Christmas! Got the books etc so we will try to do this.
Also bought a Disney puzzle to try... not really a skill but something to do!

From tomorrow I will be learning the new skill of working from home.

Apparently it's possible but I've never really done it before. We'll see how it goes.

I’m the other way round, started knitting again last summer after many years and started to crochet at Christmas. Still in the very early stages! So I hope to continue with that over the coming weeks.

I got back into knitting by making the little hats for the innocent smoothies - 25p per hat is donated to Age UK. Can really recommend it - quick and easy to knit a hat and doing something for charity. I started on the basic ones but progressed to the novelty ones too. If you want the info check out their website thebigknit/

And also this blog has loads of patterns: thebigknit.devonartist/patterns.html
Some crochet ones on there too. There’s a Facebook group for the big knit too - some of the hats people make are amazing.

Happy knitting! 😊

I think I might do some more exercise and try to get a bit fit and also sort my kids bedrooms out - we were going to do it at Easter anyway!

Problem is I don't actually think there will be a point at which I will be sent to work from home but I currently have 2nd week of April booked off anyway!

Yes, patience!

Seriously though, I hadn’t thought about it, but am going to see what I fancy as I think concentrating on something other than current affairs would be great for me!

Not a new skill but I'm starting cross stitch again and may have a look online at some free courses

I’m planning to master making real chocolates if I need to stay home. Will take some practice to get the right shine and crack. Intend on milk and dark with fillings. And there will surely be multiple samples.
