Me ... Andy 57 Disney trip freak. 3 years 9 months post kidney transplant, greatly put upon, permanently on the go and most recognised Customer in Tesco Ipswich due to being sent there at least 4 times a day by the family.

DW Hazel slightly younger and a Geordie. Alleges that we gang up on her all the time and prone to the odd stupidity lapse. Comes on this trip carrying an injury as she has a hip bursitis and is limping. Has many other complications as well.

DD2 Hannah. 17 and has had her issues. Now diagnosed with ADHD after a long period. Has depression,Irlins syndrome, dyslexia ... Yada yad yada.. And other bits. Resplendent in bright Pink hair so any of you over here that see her say hello. The lead character in a previous trip pie "when will our volcano blow"

DD1 Georgia. Has now escaped school ready for college with the offer of a scholarship here in Orlando at UCF in 2 years time, subject to grades. A fan of all things Japanese.

My apologies for the delay but nobody had told me just how using an IPad could slow thing up and combined with the usual dramatics associated with my family, I've gotten a bit behind.

So today's plan involved getting a small bag packed driving to Royal Pacific, getting passes, doing Universal and then hitting the hay. Dead simple yeah... Nope. The day begins with Georgia displaying all the signs of Avian Influenza combined with Ebola and Malaria. At this point I would like to thank the lady on the plane who not only displayed all the symptoms of flu but also sneezed the whole way across to ensure that she began the infection of the whole of the USA starting with Georgia. We pumped the many and varied drugs we had purchased in Walgreens into Georgia and told her to feel better. Bag packed an hour later than planned we set off for Royal Pacific from our home.


Please note the skeleton remains in the driveway awaiting forensic teams to arrive.

We encounter the usual 192 traffic light hold ups and eventually join the I4. At this point we become aware of a pick up truck driving along pulling a small open trailer. Both contain water melons which have no restraints and as a consequence every so often a water melon pops out and smashes on the I4. Whilst dangerous it is also incredibly funny and we chuckle away until we realise we have just gone past the Universal turn. At the next junction we turn onto the Turnpike and proceed to get lost. The hilarity stops as we drive to and fro on unfamiliar roads for 90 minutes looking for any sign that is remotely familiar. We eventually follow a plane coming into land and work our way back that way! 9 visits and now I get lost... doh.

We trundle into RP and the place is beautiful. We check our bags in as our room is not ready and head for the Ferry ... Cue photos

We reach Universal and after a toilet stop we head straight to the. Minions. I am a great fan of the banana lovers and have been known to answer "potato" to everything. Anyway the FOTL passes cut the wait time to 20 mins and in we pop. I can't wait to be converted and this is my last photo as a human being .



I must admit to being gravely disappointed that the conversion fails but consoled by a churro a we walk through the heat to Transformers (robots in disguise - am I the only one who feels the need to say this?). Along the way we pass Bumble Bee and watch him bop a bit. The ride itself is of course Spider-Man with different characters but all enjoy it and we move along. The humidity is now crushing and with drinks being refilled regularly I give in to female pressure to endure ET. They want the cold of the ride but I get fed up. I've just saved the Human Race in Transformers and now this little ugly alien wants me to save his planet. This must be the 15th time I've done this for him in my 9 trips. For an Alien with inter planetary travel you would think he would work out where it is going wrong ... Oh no .. I have to do it again.


We come out from the dark of the ride and enter Springfield to buy an enormously costly hot dog. Springfield is entertaining but Universal needs to sort out its restaurant. The queues are long and the food poor but never mind.


We move on to MIB and after the usual kerfuffle of trying to use the lockers we do the ride ... I lose for the first time ever beaten by all 3 girls. The ignominy of the loss. I demand a rematch which is refused.

As we wait for the locker to release our belongings and nice lady says " would you like to help us with the launch of Diagon Alley by having a look and answering a few question?" I of course say "nah too busy" not!

Along with several hundred others we cram in and take a look.











The place is heaving and most of the pictures I take are of people in front of shops taking pictures of people taking pictures of people in front of shops. We extricate ourselves answer a few questions and move out of the crush zone to continue our day.

By now we are wringing wet and the rain threatens so we agree that Mummy will be the last ride of the day until possibly later tonight" . The ride seems faster than usual to us all and we all cry "oh no" as we reach the first wall on the ride. This comes from the same cry from Hazel on our first ride of Mummy way back and is ingrained in our Florida memories along with things like the faulty bra on Space Mountain. That story will be in a future day. We exit the ride and after I am credit card mugged in the store we head back to RP.




The day is taking its toll and back in the room the next issue appears ... What to eat! As usual all 3 women disagree so it falls to me to make the decision. All showered I announce _ "Hash a go go" ... Silence

Where? Huh? Don't like it!

Up the road. - what does that mean - you've never been there.

We set off for the care and after a short sojourn to look at one of the 6 billion lizards in Florida we set off in the rain and immediately get stuck in traffic on IDrive. Whoopee bloody doo. 30 minutes of crawling and we enter HAGG. 3 minutes later we leave. The girls take on look at the menu and decide that they don't like it, take a vote while I am in the loo, greet me as I leave the inner sanctum and I am escorted off the premises! So much for me being in charge. They tell me that the Menu looked like a Cracker Barrel menu for LSD users and they want something different" at least they finally agree on something.

After another trial of patience on IDrive we get to Applebee's . The food is good, the server, Tasha is excellent, and we leave full and happy and after another Walgreens stop it's back for bed.

I am warned severely to make sure the alarm is on and we drop off to sleep.
