In the four days I was there, there was only one occasion when we decided we needed to move to another bus stop, which we did by taking the internal bus round. There was another occasion when I had a long wait for a bus to MK, but I was going in for MNSSHP and there were not many other people heading in, so it was quite late in the afternoon and the bust stop was quiet. That said we weren't the last stop at that time, but looks like that has changed now.

I think I need to sit down with a HUGE coffee to sit and read all this thread 😂

Thinking of it in a positive way... We're going to walk round parks all day. What's a bit more walking. Am I right 😬😂
Hi, all pirate rooms are located in Trinidad, which is really handy for the Skyliner, it has a great pool and Spyglass Grill.
We were CBR 1st timers in October and loved it, we stayed in Jamaica, and while our pool was being refurbished we spent most of our resort time at Trinidad.
Your never more than 10 mins. walk from anywhere at CBR, we used the Skyliner for HS & Epcot, and we never waited more than 15 mins. for a bus to AK or MK.
Have a great time I’m sure you’ll love it as much as everyone else on this thread. 👍

I've read through the opening post. It's really helpful. Thank you 🙂

I'm sure all will be fine with transport but thank you for the reassuring posts that confirm my assumptions.

This trip is going to be very different for us. It either been just the 2 of us (1988) or with our 2 children. This time those 2 children have partners and 2 little grandchildren will be with us.

Which brings me on the a question about the skyliner. Can the babies stay in the pushchairs on them? Or is there not room to keep the pushchairs open?

Not had the fun experience of the skyliner myself YET, but here is a article I found after a quick google and it suggests that strollers can go onto gondola fully up.

Gondolas will be able to hold passengers in wheelchairs and strollers <<link to full article on disneyparkmomspanel

I hope this helps

What are the preferred room like in terms of location? They are coming up cheaper than the standard rooms for some reason?

Ah, I had missed this! Thanks for letting us know ChaCHa So is the main entrance now the one by Jamaica/Skyliner station for everything? On our last visit we used the Jamaica bus stop for first thing in the morning park visits and the Old Port Royale one for later in the day or if we had gone for breakfast first. I guess the Jamaica stop would now always be the best bet (we are hoping to request Jamaica again this year)

We are staying at CBR again and I am super excited we stayed in Jamica but I would be happy with anywhere I think, the resort is so beautiful to walk around that I'd be more than happy to walk to the bus stop if needed

Hi Ravenwing, nice to see you’re going back 😀
Yes buses enter/depart via main entrance and loop around CBR is now fully open.
Getting the bus from OPR after breakfast could still work well as two separate buses up until 10am ish.
I bet you’re really excited to be going back again 😊

Hi - preferred room location:

Martinique - next to OPR and close to Riviera resort and Skyliner station.

Barbados - closer to main pool, but still a short walk to OPR(not as close as Martinique though)
Closer to CBR Skyliner station - & short walk to Caribbean Cay.

Both lovely location imo
😊
