I have just read TC has been bought by a Chinese firm, looking at resurrecting the name just as an online provider, hopefully this will help get flight prices particularly away from London at a realistic price.

Fosun (TC’s largest shareholder at the time of its demise), has only bought the rights to the brand name of TC and a couple of its hotel brands, along with associated domain names.
It doesn’t really mean anything in terms of what will happen, and there are certainly no aircraft involved or other actual assets such as hotels. Fosun was operating the TC brand in China under a joint venture previously. Remains to be seen what they will do with the name Edited at 09:37 AM. |
