We've just returned, its been fantastic for data, didn't bother using parks Wifi as it was so poor. Showing up as 4G for most of the time. Had problems with 3 data in the past but not on this visit.

Landed back yesterday and had the 3 roam sim.

I was always linked to the AT&T network, it never dropped and was always 4g.

Used it for WhatsApp video and that never flickered.

You can still use it regardless if it is free or not.

Just make a call to another UK number before you go.

3 worked fine for us too. Just download the 3 app and make sure you enable the sim to work abroad.

For those of you who have set up a 3 sim did you have any problems registering your email please? I am trying to do mine, it's partially set up the my3 account but won't accept an email address to verify. Maybe I am trying too soon as it's only been in the phone for about half an hour?
