Free drink disney hotels

Does anyone know how it works with the free drinks you get free from the machines in the hotels ( sequoia lodgein my case)? Where, how many etc?

There are machines dotted around the hotel, you are entitled to one free drink per person per day. You scan your magic pass at the machine and select which drink you want.

I don't know if it's changed but when we went to the Santa Fe in February we were able to get 4 free drinks per person, per day. Just enough to fill a travel mug. I can highly recommend the hazelnut hot chocolate!

The hot drinks machines are scattered around the hotel - when you check in you can ask them to mark your nearest machine on the map.

Just hazelnut and normal chocolate as far as I recall.

As long as you are staying in a Disney on-site hotel you should get this perk, as it's linked to your magic pass you get when you check in.

Is this a different thing from the refillable cup you get on the dining plan? We're going to be staying at POFQ.
