Hermes are usually the best out of the delivery companies. Our Hermes driver is on our local community Facebook page and always helpful. Do you have a community page where you live, then you could put a shout out on it.

I was waiting for a delivery from DHL last week. I was able to track it to the point where I was next for delivery I was looking out of the window for them and then got the notification that delivery was attempted but I was out! I rang DHL and they were able to use GPS tracking to confirm that he had gone to the wrong house. The same driver did exactly the same the next day but they managed to contact him quick enough to get him to try again to the correct house. He was very apologetic but what would have happened to my parcel had the occupants of the house had been in to receive my parcel.

Hopefully the parcel will turn up today, I had a delivery due on sunday whilst I was at work so asked OH to listen out for it, I got out of work and had a message on my phone to say it had been delivered to my safe place and a card posted through door. Checked safe place and other hidey spots when got home but nothing and no card through door. Went online to track and it said parcel had been left in porch... Funny that as we don't have a porch and then a message one minute after to say it had been refused at the door and to contact buyer... couldnt do anything Sunday as after 5pm customer services were shut, the parcel was delivered yesterday morning, I was gonna argue toss with delivery driver but he just gave me parcel said this you and left 🙄, yodel are shocking and reason I usually use collect plus when it says its going to be delivered by them and pick up from tesco local... But cos it said Sunday I knew somebody would be in. Fired off a ranty email but probably won't get a response

I ordered a parcel from Asos that should have come Friday but am still waiting - I keep getting told its out for dispatch . Normally asos and the delivery people are very good in my area. Asos are good for refunds anyway- I ordered an expensive watch last year , the parcel arrived and I waited a few days before wrapping it only to look inside the watch box to find there was no watch! I got onto Asos who immediately sent another one with no quibbling , I was panicking about how could I prove it wasn't there but they were fine.

I have had parcels signed for before by couriers and not delivered. It is mainly because they have allocated times to get stuff delivered so if they know they cannot make it they sign for it and then drop it off usually the next day when passing.
Hopefully it is something like that and they do turn up. I would also keep checking daily on Asos and reorder the shoes if they do come in stock in her size in the meantime.

Little update.
ASOS have agreed to give a full refund because there is no longer stock of the size of trainer she ordered but she can not get those trainers anywhere for that price as they were in the Black Friday sale. She is really upset because she now can’t afford the trainers. Certainly no delivery today. Gutted |

Would student/NHS discount help her afford them if they’re available on any other websites? let me know if it would be of any assistance!
