Free Park Days and Disney Nights!

Just missed the first hour of this promo going live. I don't even know the details yet but at first glance can't see this being mentioned today on DIBB. Hope this helps someone out. (Going to check it all out now!)

I believe this is the similar "free nights" offer (or, to put it another way, discounted room rate) offered around this time every year.

For those interested, there are more details on Disney's website here:

disneyholidays/walt...hts-2020-/080/

From the above:

"Up to 4 Free Nights on a 2-week Stay + 14-day Ticket for the Price of 7!

Book now to enjoy Disney’s 14-Day Ultimate Ticket for the price of a 7-Day Ticket, giving you access to all SIX Disney Parks. Plus, stay in a Disney Resort Hotel to receive up to 4 nights FREE on your 2-week holiday! These magical offers are available during most school holidays.

FREE Disney Resort Hotel Nights

Stay in a Disney Resort Hotel on selected dates to enjoy up to 4 FREE nights on a 2-week holiday! Choose from over 20 Disney Resort Hotels to suit all tastes and budgets, from Value to Deluxe.
Stay in a Disney Resort Hotel on selected dates to receive:

• Up to 2 free nights for 7 – 13 night stays
• Up to 4 free nights for 14 – 20 night stays
• Up to 6 free nights for 21 night stays

Valid for arrivals 10th February – 31st March and 10th May – 24th December for participating Value Resorts and 10th February – 24th December for participating Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts.

Book by 1st April 2020 to benefit from this spectacular offer!
"

Basically, it's between a 15% and 28% discount on the room rate (28% discount for a 7, 14 or 21 night stay).

Yes, it's just the regular free nights offer that comes around every year, and the 14 for the price of 7 day ticket which is on pretty much constantly. They've just put a new marketing spin on it this year

Thanks, Nimbus. I couldn’t find this info for looking yesterday!

I could only seem to get as far as reading the 14 night info. I think I was scanning quickly as I discovered it just as my break ended.

Then I thought I may as well forget it as we wouldn’t want to spend 2 weeks staying onsite. I can give it another look now.

We don’t normally look at the Disney hotel offers as we never used to consider staying onsite. However we booked the second night of our trip at an AS resort this year (though didn’t end up using it for the night, just for a first day nap!) and figured we might do more next time. Problem we have is that DS1 will be 17 and DS2 10 so we need something a bit bigger (and with a proper toilet door!) so we still aren’t sure.

BTW, we are aware the park days but is the bog standard offer seen for years.

All Disney resorts we've stayed in have had a proper toilet door. They may have curtains or screens to the sink area, but definitely a proper door to the toilet and bathroom area.

We're a family of 4 with a 16 and 18 year old, and have no problem spending 2 weeks onsite in one room (just got back from our latest trip last month) but I accept it's not for everyone. If considering onsite for what is effectively 4 adults, free dining normally works out to be the better offer though, although that's passed for 2019 now.

It was possible an ineffective screen door rather than no door at all, but the room was certainly a bit small for a stay of more than a couple of nights for all of us at once - but it did what it was required anyway as we got our second wind for the late afternoon and evening park visit as well as EMH for AK in the morning and the Magic Bands!

We were considering the Cabins at FW but I'm not sure if the bunk bed will be big enough for the eldest.

I'm still unsold (but a little undecided) on the free dining plan yet as we eat off site a lot. We are planning a big trip for 2021 (but then, who isn't?!) so were going to consider it again if it's offered next year.

To be fair, the value resort rooms are quite small and I wouldn't fancy 2 weeks in one of them with 4 of us. We're happy in moderate resorts and always go for the 5th sleeper so the children can have separate beds. We also prefer the qsdp to the ddp, so they suit us better from that perspective with free dining too
