I’m happy to do DIY and indirect as have done so before, just not at the current high prices with very little difference between both options.

I don’t think school holidays make a huge difference anymore to package prices- both years our virgin flights have been full of school age children and I think the holiday companies are cottoning on to the fact that families are taking their children out of school and raising prices in view of that.

Fingers and toes crossed we will see prices drop over the coming weeks.
I will wait then and keep everything crossed. I really hate waiting though, I never feel like I’m actually going until the flights are booked

The prices have increased by at least 50% since Friday.

We've looked at the price calendar and its the same for every available date so fingers crossed its just a glitch and they'll return to "normal" soon.
