No disney for us this year - as per OP we werent supposed to be going this year however snagged a bargain flydrive with BA into Miami - so spending a night there, 7 nights at the Rosen Pointe Orlando and only planning Universal and Seaworld - Kids are a little miffed as test track and RnR are their absolute faves - but understand we cant do it all everytime
Personally - I am looking forward to no planning! |

We have done Disney and Universal and have had many holidays since and still plenty to do in and around Orlando.
You can always keep your eye out for a good Discovery Cove deal

Thanks everyone - I’ve just booked it. Got another £250 off from Tui so very pleased with the price.
Plan is to do Universal & Seaworld +/- DC. Any recommendations for best place to look out for DC deals? Ultimate ticket for 1/9/20 on Seaworld website with Dophin swim is £203 - previous week £235, can we hope for a better price or is £203 a good one?

We did Disney on our first Orlando holiday (2010) but didn't really rate it. The only Disney parks I liked were Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. It was a no-brainer to then skip it the next time we went in 2014 and again this year. Especially with all the messing about you have to do for rides and meals at Disney.

Excited about Disney

We were there over Christmas and other than MVMCP we did no Disney. Instead we did one day at LEGOLAND, one day at SeaWorld and other things that we would never have had time to do like Wonderworks, Top Golf, the Orlando Eye and more time at the pool. It was quite refreshing not having to worry about queues etc

We are flying out Friday just for a week and are not visiting any parks and in fact have no plans whatsoever! Looking forward to just going with the flow.
We are however back in the summer to do Disney. We’ve been the last two years with no Disney and have only been to Universal. We just go to Disney Springs for a fix, visit their hotels and ride on their transportation!

Try magicaltickets.co.uk give them a ring they’re open until 9pm cheapest tickets we found including sw, Busch, Aquatica and free parking.
We’re skipping Disney this year and not regretting it looking forward to a less regimented holiday tbh

Hi
I booked with TUI today too staying at Endless Summer Resort flying direct from Glasgow 2 Adults for £2200 which I thought for 2 weeks was really good. We have done 8 days before and didn't do Disney ( that was another year we were not going to Florida) This time i think we will do a Disney Halloween party and perhaps a character meal . There is so much to do snd i am looking forward to eating off site again. I haven't booked with a travel agent in years but couldn't find decent flights. Edited at 09:12 PM. |

we are not doing Dsiney or Universal on our upcoming trip
We do have tickets to Busch Gardens, SeaWorld and Aquatica My kids are 11/10/8/8 and are very very lucky to have been to Disney every year of their lives sometimes upto 3 times a year But we are all Disney'd out, we want more pool and water park time and more rest we are all really looking forward to going and dont think we will miss the two theme park giants at all |

We haven't done Disney for years (although we still go to Disney Springs, The Boardwalk and sometimes do the adventure golf).
We are Universal Annual Passholders, so will do a few trips there and as we get free parking, we also do the golf and cinema there on non-park days. We go to the beach, Lake Anna for a hike and swim, we spend time in Kissemmee by the lake front and marina, we catch the train and do Winter Park and Downtown Orlando... Or chill by the villa pool and read and swim
