Magicbands- staying offsite and using a voucher to collect tickets

We will be using a voucher at the HS ticket booth to collect our 14 day passes. Already set up and linked MDE app.
1.Can we buy Magicbands when we collect?
2.Will they link them automatically so we use immidiately for our FP+ reservations and Park Entry?
3.Is there a range of prices available or will they only sell us the expensive ones?

You can buy all sorts of magic bands from most shops, resorts, even in the airport shop.

They range from (I think) $15 for the blank ones, $25 for the picture ones and $30 for the limited edition picture ones.

You link them to each person's profile in MDE by inputting the code on the back of the MB.

I am unsure if they have them at the ticket booth though. I do not recall seeing them there.

Ah thanks. Do you get the plastic tickets as well then?
There are 6 in our party and on my MDE app.

Yes you will get plastic tickets- surprised they didnt send you them as it is, then you could have taken the code and linked yours to MDE- did you get them from a US seller?

If the tickets are already linked to MDE can they buy Magicbands from airport/Disney Springs and then link them to MDE the day before they visit HS?

They can buy the bands at the airport anyway and link them on MDE. Then pick up the ticket and then link that to MDE also .

It's a voucher from Charter Travel. We present it on our first day. Disney however have sent a code to link it to MDE so we can do FP+ 30 days before travel. I presume the physical tickets will be already linked to that code so will work but thanks for Magicband advice. We are staying at Vista Cay so will try and buy from airport or publix then link them on the app when we get the plastic tickets. Even if the plastic tickets not linked we can presumably do that at the gate whilst queueing to get in!

I don’t recall seeing them in Publix but 100% they are in the Disney shop at the airport. If you get MBs and have the codes linked you won’t have to bother getting tickets.

Great thanks.Airport it is. I reckon the CM will give us the tickets and we link the magicbands but we will see!

If you have the codes in MDE now- you don't need the tickets if you have the magic bands.
