Have been asked by a friend what clothing to pack for for Florida for April - but I have only ever visited July / August! Is it hot in April - any recommendations? or advice please!?

The first time we went was April unfortantely never again unless absolute steal.
It was very nice and nothing major. But it was just not that hot, overcast a lot of days and very very busy. (we went during school term as fiance is a teacher). For us it was basically British Sunny weather. we go for the Florida weather, we love it. But of course can see why normal weather might be good for some! |

The time we went end of March beginning of April it was hot we were in shorts and t shirts vest tops etc. We normally go late Oct early Nov we said we wouldn't go April again as very busy with Spring Break but not because of weather. We do live in North East of England though and was much warmer than most summer days we get here 🌞

We went the end of April and it was lovely weather, hot but not too humid and hardly any rain.

We've been around a dozen times in April but more often towards the end of the month merging into early May.
On average you can expect highs in the low 80s (Fahrenheit of course ) and lows between 60 and 65. One of the driest months with low humidity. Definitely shorts and tee shirts weather. Mick

Yup as everyone has said, lovely weather usually hot but not humid and usually little rain. Very early in the morning it can be chilly so may need the odd lightweight jumper/hoodie.

With temperatures in the high 20's and one of the lowest rainfall months it's a very good time to go weather wise. April and October are my favourites for weather, nice and hot without the humidity. I go every April school holidays and I certainly wouldn't compare it to the weather in Britain.
