Does anyone know if the same system will apply to the return to Glasgow? We arrive in Gatwick at 08:00hrs and our Glasgow flight leaves at 09:20hrs, it would certainly help if it’s in place as well.

I don’t think so, you still have to clear immigration and reclear security at LGW, and I don’t think it has an airside path like LHR for this.

Aah well, I suppose we’ll have to get our running shoes on, just as well we have booked fast track passport control.

The Glasgow flight will be aware it has connecting passengers on it and has often waited for them if they are a little delayed .

Gatwick from Newcastle flight would be great

Brilliant news! Fingers crossed it becomes permanent. I live in hope they’ll reinstate the Manchester-Gatwick route.
