Think this is related to them getting ready for Disney + going live in the UK. If you decide to sign up for Disney + you maybe best to use the same password for that account, they are linked not sure why or how.
Essentially I think yesterday they logged everyone out but for some a password reset became necessary initially I thought this was because the password needed to be stronger ie someone had 6 letters, new requirement for Disney + would be 8 but this didn't pan out when I was eventually able to sign in with my normal password.

Had the exact same problem starting on Thursday, no matter how many times I asked to reset my password, no reset email came through. Called Disney and was sent an email directly. ADRs now booked!

I've called and they sorted it - still getting Ralph when trying to pick magic bands. A bit of a pain to be honest!

Same issue here. Called Disney and got my magic bands over the phone. Was on hold for over half an hour though...

Yeah it’s up and down at the moment, there was a message pop up last night on the site saying they were experiencing technical difficulties (first time I’ve seen one of those) so hopefully it will be up and running and with a few of the glitches cleared 😀
