Sainsburys mini beef Wellingtons were lovely, their melt in the middle chocolate pud was vile and didn’t taste like chocolate. I love cranberry and brie sandwiches from anywhere but they don’t taste the same made at home. Loved the Ben and Jerry mint ice cream.

We just bought a fresh baguette from Lidl and had leftover Brie and cranberry sauce baguettes for lunch! They were yum!

We didn’t buy too much pre prepared stuff and I only made it to Lidl this year as I was working like mad until we broke up.
Lidl Christmas puddings and melt in the middle choc and golden syrup puds went down a storm with the guests as did the brandy butter.
For NYE i made curries but there were Indian snacky platters to put in the oven, bhaji, samosa, pakora etc, they were really nice
