Thrifty -Debit card?

Hi, were looking at booking car hire with thrifty, it's a "Fullsize Recreational Vehicle". I read somewhere that if it's a premium card they want a credit card but you can use debit card if not. Does this class a a premium car? Anyone had any experience with these? We don't have a credit card, only debits.

Cheers

Never heard of the category 'Fullsize recreation vehicle'. What car is given as an example?

Debit cards are accepted at many locations to qualify the rentals when other requirements are met:
o Vehicle car class reserved must be A – F (sub-compact through full-size).
o At Airport locations, the renter is required to provide proof of return travel ticket to coincide
with the rental and present two (2) valid forms of identification.

Anything higher and you'll need to present a credit card.

Car is a "Nissan Pathfinder or similar"
I have no idea what the vehicle class is, as it's via third party. Just can't be simple can it 😂

No, you can’t use a debit card for that vehicle category
