This happened to me when Penhaligons discontinued Levantium which is my go to winter perfume. I managed to source a couple of bottles on Amazon but even at 100ml they will only last me so long.

I used to love Perry Ellis Blue, but it stopped being available here lots of years ago now. I tend to use the Lush perfumes now and swap and change. They keep discontinuing my favourite bubble bars though!

Does anyone remember Chloe by Karl Lagerfield that was out in the 80’s

It was my first real perfume and I still dream of the scent

I used to adore Miss Dior (the version you got about 8 years ago). They changed it and it just wasn’t as nice. I bought myself a big bottle of the Le parfum in August but I’m not loving it. OH gave me a bottle of the Eu de parfum at Christmas and I much prefer it but it’s still not as nice as the one I used to wear

Why do they change popular scents?

I’ll still continue to use it as it’s my signature scent and I haven’t found anything else I like as much.

I have used Gucci Premiere perfume for years which was discontinued a couple of years ago. ☹. I have half a bottle left, I only use it for special occasions now, wish I'd realised and stocked up! ☹

I can completely identify with this. My favourites keep being discontinued. First it was McQueen, then Bulgari Goldea. I cannot recall how many other fragrances I’ve tested to try and find a new favourite, but none really cut it.
I’ve asked the assistants in various stores for similar recommendations as well, but I’m still searching 😢.

Husband on the other hand will only wear Polo Double Black which is a nightmare to get nowadays. Used to be able to get in Orlando but haven’t done for ages. It was a lucky find on Amazon at Christmas this time round but sources are fading!
Similar for me & I have lots of perfumes.

I know the fragrancing that I like (fresh, citrus, herbal, marine, botanicals) and am always finding another perfume that I like in those scents.

I do have a few perfumes that I particularly like:
Guerlain, Herba Fresca
Miller Harris, Tea Tonique
Atelier Cologne, Cedrat Envivrant

I admit a real weakness for Miller Harris; they have so many perfumes that I like... & own; probably 15-20 of their perfumes 🤭

One of mine and my daughters favourites Opium Nuit Blanche is also discontinued and the prices also went sky high. I think I have 2 90ml bottles left then no more. So far my other over 30 year favourite Estée Lauder White Linen original is still available. Good luck finding a new one, it is a very hard thing to do.

Thats a shame. I alternate my perfumes. Lighter ones for work slightly heavier for going out and holiday scents. I often can't smell them on me if i wear the same one. Ive also kept special ones for best 🤣only to find they have ? Gone off. I get the your smell tho, my Mums is No 5 and my Grandma only ever wore laimant that smell makes me very emotional x

Yes I do, they still have it on fragrance direct by the look of it.
