Maybe against the flow here but I'm pleased that people have said planes are cold. It is easy to put on a layer or use the blankets whereas in the past, flights have been very warm and being too warm makes me feel ill. You can't really strip off to cool down further

I too was surprised at Gryff's flight last week, because I remembered BA making a big fuss 2 years ago about new sky blue blankets for economy. Then of course there was a pandemic, so those new things were hardly used and I wondered what had happened to them.

Anyway, sounds as if Gryff was either unlucky, or they are keeping the blankets for overnight flights as pleased to report that when we flew back from Cayman Islands last week, economy had blue blankets (we were in World traveller plus and had really comfy blankets and pillows). I have a feeling that earplugs and eyemasks are available on request, but I always take my own, so didn't need them. Also not sure about headphones.

Flew back from Tampa on Saturday night, had blankets, pillows and earphones if needed. Same on outbound day flight. In regular economy the earphones are in a little charity envelope.

I wonder if they don’t lay them out so if unused can be used on the next flight knowing they are untouched by possibly Covid infested fingers ?
Did you actually ask Gryff ?

BA flights to Cancun, St Lucia and Orlando - all had blankets, pillows and headphones. And all were freezing! Other half doesn't feel the cold at all but even he commented on how cold all the flights were. Must be 'due to covid' somehow
