Busy Day Guide - Dibb Forum Thank yous...

We went to Florida with our 11 year old for the first time this last couple of weeks. We were very anxious about booking at Easter, but had little choice as I work in school and my daughter is working up to SATs.

My husband kept saying he was looking forward to our real holiday in the summer- we're off to Northumberland for the week. He was dreading the Disney holiday because of all the posts about how busy and crowded it is over Easter and how tiring it is.

Today, on the way home, he said that this is the first holiday he's had where he has completely relaxed...he hasn't thought about work once and he is completely chilled. He says it's because we did everything on our list, but didn't over-do anything...and it was all down to the Dibb Busy Day Guide, which didn't steer us wrong once, and the advice on various threads on the forum, which we checked daily. None of the advice we were given steered us wrong and we have had a blast.

I'm sorry this is long, but I wanted to say a huge THANKYOU toallthe wise people on the boards...for the Busy Days Guide and for the shopping advice. we are back from our first trip tired, broke and completely buzzed about our next trip.

Just off to the planning boards for the next trip

Glad you had such as great time. Our first visit 7 years ago we found the dibb a few months before we travelled, and it made such a difference to our holiday.

So glad to read about the wonderful time that you had. Makes of the hard work planning more than worth it.

Hi, glad you had a great time. Got back this week from our first trip and def using the Dibb and busy day guides made a real difference to us. DH was really impressed that all my hours spent on the Dibb had payed off! Now hoping we can go back again - poss in 2015 to do the bits we couldn't squeeze in this time!

Glad you all had a fab time, funnily enough the only place my DH doesn't think about work is Florida, one of the reasons we keep going back

Same here. The many hours of research paid off. The holiday went seamlessly and much of that was down to the amazing advice given by you lovely Dibbers.
