BA holidays - May 2021

Yo, logged back on just to respond to this. Just booked end of May 2021 to early June for 16 nights Villa all BA holidays.

Im booked for may and i feel confident that the borders will be open then and flights will be running, im less confident that masks wont be mandatory by then

I wouldn’t do any Estas yet personally. These restrictions could be in place for the foreseeable future as the US are hardly busting a gut to contain it..

We changed from August this year to May 2021. I honestly thought things would be better by then but I’m really not sure. Trying to stay positive though.
I am also worried about the changing of the flights with BA and hoping that the one we are on from LGW stays.

I just amended the dates as we didn't want to go at the start of memorial day weekend and for start of summer. We will now be there 19th May to 4th June, cost me £272 for family of 5 to change which included a £100 amendment fee and changing airports from LGW to LHR (no issues there as I like T5) and switching from Avis to Budget for car rental to save £40 and lose an additional driver. I so badly want to be excited, but I can't even book a night before stay, parking or even look at lounge prices for fun because so little is certain.
