I watched two different versions of it on youtube last night. Although I love the music (I remember all of the segments) I felt it was one of those things you had to be there to enjoy.

In terms of technical video quality I then watched tim trackers recording which seemed much sharper. (

So we need to go back and see for real !

I have rarely been as disappointed with a show as Illuminations. I found it totally underwhelming, but I loved the early 90s one where all the countries lit up etc and they sent up a ton of fireworks.
This one looked potentially better.
I’m hoping the new one captured what I remember originally and they up the firework count substantially.

I must keep an open mind... 😁
I absolutely loved Illuminations, they could have scrapped every other fireworks show at WDW if they’d kept that.

Never really bought into the Illuminations thing, so to me, this one looks a bit more Disney-fied. Will see for myself this weekend though. Looking forward to it.

I love the look of this show, it has all the classic Epcot songs I remember as a child from the late 1980s... looking forward to seeing it in person. Although I will miss Illuminations too, it was awesome.
