Boot space info required

Have just booked 7 seat full size suv.( from DFCH) and am now wondering as to which car I should be looking out for. There are 4 adults and 2 children, 13 & 11. Trying to keep cases down to 4 max plus carry on. I am sure someone on here will have had same size party and baggage. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Ford Expedition has most then followed by Nissan Armarda then Chevy Tahoe.
On all you will be able to lower one of seats in 3rd row as virtually ever vehicle in rows will be 8 seaters as 7 are now customer order only.
In honesty cargo space is poor in this sector so try and grab the Ford.
Enjoy.

Cheers for that, I have been looking at various videos and have seen how small some of boots are. Hoping for Ford anyway.

Op, the SUV will only be loaded fully on 2 trips, from and to the Airport. Even in a Tahoe, which will take 2 Large Suitcases with the 3rd row being used, you will still have a spare seat from the 7 free. A bit of Suitcase Jenga and you'll be fine.

If you are worried, the Chevy Surburban or Expedition Max both have mah-hoosive boot space, but they are very very long.

Have you thought about a mini van ? I think they are easier to get in and out of than an SUV. If you need to, some of your party could also Uber/Lyft to your accommodation.

Last August we had 4A and 2C in an Armada. We had 3 full size cases and a hand luggage size case. It was tight, but fitted. Without putting a full size case on someones lap I don't think we could have got a 4th full size case in.

Had van last time, reason for change was cost, SUV £300 cheaper for 3 week required, using DFCH.

Same here over the van can not justify the cost, we have 6 adults and 1 child booked with Alamo a Ford Expedition or similar, as its only fully load on 2 trips 2 adults will be getting an uber from MCO, works out cheaper.
