Hi, our 1st trip we done.
LA - Palm Springs - Scottsdale - Grand Canyon - LV - Death Valley - Yosemite - SF - Oxnard - LA. Over 14 days about 2000 miles and loved it. Last trip, xmas 2019 we did. LA - LV - Grand Canyon - Sedona - Palm Springs - Santa Monica beach. Over 14 days, I think about 1400 miles and had more time at each destination. We loved every bit of it as we are into just looking at all the wonderful and sometimes boring places en-route. We are just planning our Florida one for October. 😊🙏 |

Also have to say its the little places like Calico ghost town and Oatman and Sitgreaves pass, I love them, just wandering around and taking it all in and then jumping back in the car and heading to crazy places like Vegas lol, I also done the engine room tour in Hoover dam this time. ❤

if you did want to go to Six flags close to San Fran, it again has some great coasters, we did it on our last trip, we drove straight from the airport up to a quality inn close to the park. Though be wary of the toll roads going up from San Fran

The problem with 6 Flags SFO is that it is not open year round every day. For instance, this Easter no days fit for us.
You can get there on the BART, I believe.

That looks really good.
Glad to find another who has stayed on the Queen Mary. We only planned it as an overnight propositioning, coming up from SD. We absolutely loved it, the faded iconic grandeur, the history and particularly the Art Deco bar. It was a true highlight as we settled down in our state room for the night.
