Watersong to the parks

I’ve seen lots of reports of heavy traffic and increased travel times to and from parks...Can anyone recommend a route from watersong to the parks avoiding the I4?

We are staying in Watersong this year.
I Couldn’t get much advice for this area.
However, The road which someone did mention to me as a good option was Lake Wilson Road

We stayed at Watering last year and loved it. It is a little bit further out than some of the villa communities we've stayed in before but it didn't really bother us. We used to set the satnav to avoid toll roads as the I4 was like a carpark most days (Easter Holidays). Our usual route to parks was via N old Lake Wilson Road then across the 192 onto the Sherberth road

We used to go north on 17 then Left onto Ronald Regan Parkway then right onto Lake Wilson Road then right onto the 192 and along to World Drive.

Thanks everyone. We have stayed further out before and didn’t mind so much except the traffic on the I4 at times! Good to know the options before we go...we are also considering using Uber instead of hiring a car. How long did it take to Disney & Universal from watersong?

There is no way I would stay at Watersong and not hire a car. At 10:30PM Google Maps shows just under 30 min with no traffic to MK and just over 30 min to Universal. Avoiding I4 to Universal would be much longer. At 8AM on a Monday the estimate for Universal is 26-50 minutes.

Are you planning on eating at the parks in the evening? There aren't many restaurants or shops close to Watersong so anywhere you want to go will be extra Uber journeys as well.
