Took us just under 4 hours. We took the toll roads. Tip is not to speed. We got a $300 fine on way home!

US27 is toll free all the way from MIA and maybe 20 minutes longer than the Interstate. Dual carriageway all the way. Still boring but a few towns en-route to stop and eat etc.

next, there is the untold part in any question ...
OP was you're question directed towards driving up to kissimmee right after landing in Miami ? in that case, even if the drive looks simple and fine (and it is) I think the majority here will advise you to spend the night at the airport before driving up as mentionned above the drive is booooooooring ... it's all concrete highway for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles kind of easy to zone out while driving if you're already tired from the flight. if you're spending a few days around the miami area, then no problem, just try to avoid rush hours out of miami, as it can be painful but if you're driving up straight fresh off the plane, definitely consider spending the night in miami, even if you land early like 3pm-ish |

Thanks for all the reply’s. It’s our homeward bound flight so a long drive to the airport might be slightly more bearable!
