Rumour Wrestlemania 36 will be in Florida

Just read that WWE are in Tampa to make an announcement tomorrow. Rumour is it will be to announce Tampa as location for next year's Wrestlemania.

I don’t see it happening as there was one in Orlando recently. I know WWE has a Florida division and having another main event in Florida so soon could annoy fans from up north and out west.

Last year rumours were suggesting likely options were Minneapolis and Atlanta with the possibility of a third state (Florida) being considered. Mutterings about Jacksonville.

But I agree a northern location might be more representative if you consider last few years locations.

They hosted it in Florida in 2012 AND 2017, so I wouldn't bet against them coming back for a third time!

I think with the developmental base being in Florida, it probably saves them a ton of money... They have all the wrestlers AND crew from Florida to help with the extra production yet they don't need to fly anyone out?

Just came back to post it's official. Wrestlemania has been on my bucket list for years. Missed it by 3 weeks last time round and will be in Orlando 4 weeks after this one.

That's surprising, they've had a few in Florida recently (3? 2 x Orlando and 1 x Miami).

I expect we'll be going as my hubby will be off work as it's the school holidays and it's our 10th wedding anniversary on 3rd April so I was planning a holiday anyway.

We've been to 6 Wrestlemanias and a couple of Summerslams. I love going! (not going this year as it's in term time ) If anyone has any questions then please just ask!
