Question End of April / beginning of May 2020 - info please

So we're definitely going next year and it looks as though the end of April or beginning of May is the best time for us (want to go before oldest DD starts school and newest DD will be around 16 months old ).

As we've never visited at that time of year before can you let me know what we can expect please? Any info on weather, crowds, any special events and rough cost would be much appreciated. We're hoping to stay at POFQ for at least 14 nights and fly direct from Manchester.

Many thanks

So we always go as a family in May. The weather is usually lovely (some afternoon showers but nothing major). Crowds are low and the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is on which we love (free events and concerts to enjoy).

Brill always wanted to visit Epcot when the flower and garden festival is on so can’t wait for that!

Thank you

We went in May 2017 and the weather was great. Park levels were also good, could pretty much walk on everything.

Heading back in May next year as well

No advice to add but i'm planning the exact same trip as you only flying from Gatwick instead! I'd be interested to know if you get any good deals!

We are going 27th April this year for 2 weeks.

Direct flights with Virgin were £332 each if that’s any help.
Although that was, if I remember correctly, a pretty good deal on flights.

That’s a great price and we’d be more than happy with that! Can I ask when you booked them and was it a special offer or anything?

The only downside to this time of year is that there is a massive cheer leading competition and they are everywhere! In 2017 the crowds were good with lots of things walk on but for some very strange reason last year it was very busy and we found that the queues were shorter in July.
