Discovery Cove - book a cabana or not?

We have had one both of our last 2 trips but decided not to this time, the prices have really gone up and we are barely in it. Such a busy day it's a lot for the amount of time we used it.

Definitely, we had one last year for the 1st time, and loved it.

We had one a few years back and it was ace as our daughter’s were young, I did look to book one again for this July but the price is about double what we paid and @ $700 I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

It is a luxury, so it ultimately comes down to your budget.

We opted for the elite upgrade during our last visit as it worked out a bit cheaper than having the photo package and cabana hire separately (plus a few extra goodies thrown in - buoy delivered by dolphin worth the cost alone!).

Personally, we loved having the private space; especially the locker and fridge. DH won't consider a visit to DC without one now! However, it's working out about £325 for the cabana alone during our next trip and I have to decide if that is really worth the cost.

I thought about booking one last year but to be honest we were hardly ever out the water to justify the cost.

We had one last year and absolutely loved it, so we will be getting one again next year.

We'll be taking my mother in law with us, and it'll be her first time, so we'd be getting the photo package anyway, and the elite package isn't much more than renting the cabana only.

Eldest son and me spent quite a bit of time relaxing there whilst hubby and the other two were snorkelling. Worked really well for us!
