Have just seen an advert for Kelling Heath and remember someone posting about it on here so will be investigating that too.
Won't be going abroad for some time yet.
That was probably me mentioning Kelling Heath 😁 If we don't go to Florida in August then we will be straight up there for our 14th visit in seven years 😁 Due to go in the October half term too. We are also people who don't generally return to the same holiday destination so that says a lot 😁👍👍

We were due to go to our villa end of September but have now released the dates for another guest who is staying in a villa 4 doors away then coming to ours. Hopefully.

We have now booked two nights in Portmeiroin, always wanted to go there since the Prisoner was on in the 60's. Then might go on to Chester to see the city and the Zoo. Hoping we will get there

My dad had booked a big place in France for the whole family for his 70th birthday for the first week in August. Thankfully they cancelled the other day and have booked a big place in Devon. Slightly concerned if it will still be ok to go or not.

No, I wouldn't be holidaying anywhere in the UK for these reasons - not interested in going anywhere in the UK, too expensive, cant rely on the weather etc

I would rather save my money and think at a later stage what I want to do/where I want to go

Absolutely not ... everywhere will be horribly crowded .
The most we’d do in the U.K. would be Newcastle to visit my brother (fairly unlikely) or Devon to visit friends and family for a weekend ... but we do that once or twice a year anyway.
More likely if permissible is a trip to Ireland but again that’s family first and foremost .
The garden is vastly improved with all the TLC it has got recently so happy to stay home and enjoy it anyway .

Already prepped the family, if we can go whilst it's still good weather then camping at Turnover Hall with friends, its limited pitches so doesn't get overcrowded, if the weathers bad I will book a long weekend in a Hotel somewhere fairly remote to try and avoid crowds.

No we wouldn't.
I imagine everywhere would be terribly crowded if everyone is in the same boat,
and prices would be over what I would consider to be any value for money for crowds and unreliable weather.
We used to enjoy camping and caravanning when the kids were young but now they are young adults neither of those appeal to any of us at all.

No because I had already decided I need to spend some time doing some decorating
Plus I went to Florida in February so been abroad this year.

I'm waiting for easyjet to cancel my flight next month, they emailed me an offer of a voucher or to rebook but I already have 5 nights booked in lanzarote in November so want the refund.

I’m surprised at the amount of objections on here.

We had our mini moon to the Peak District booked for the middle of May and that’s been cancelled - they are refusing a refund so we are trying to move it to September after our new wedding date. (Can’t actually get hold of them though so a little tricky).

We do still really want to go, so in the event that we do get the money back we just won’t book through hoseasons as I’ve now found you can book direct with the site for the same thing at the same price. So we’d do that.

But we will definitely try and have little breaks in the UK, we don’t class them as holidays and we’ve never done a full week, by 4 nights for us is quite nice. We’ve done Bluestone National Park as well which has been previously mentioned, it was lovely, we’re waiting for them to open the new one in North Wales.
