Gin mixers and cocktails
I love gin, it’s been a favourite of mine for several years now. There are so many flavours these days and I’ve just been given lemon sherbet and blueberry gins.
So thought this might be a fun post that we could share our favourites gin and mixers and cocktails. I love realm of the unicorn, which is toasted marshmallow and vanilla. I’ve tried it with tonic water and lemonade but prefer it with tonic water. I’m going to try the lemon sherbet gin with Prosecco.

I love him and have for many years, long before flavours, however back in the late 80's early 90's gordans did a lemon gin and it was clear, not as sweet as the new one, but very nice.
I prefere the juniper flavor of a good London dry gin, ice a slice and a splash of tonic 👍mmm mmmmm Edited at 08:12 PM. Reason: Fat thimbs |

Gin is my tipple too. I like a good cold Martini. Or an Aviation cocktail or a Tom Collins. My preferred brand is Bombay Sapphire.

Gin drinkers here too. Hubby likes his gin with a dash of Robinsons Lime & Mint Cordial then topped up with lemonade. Loads of ice too. Favourite brands are Hendricks and Caorunn.
I take my gin with rose lemonade - it's like drinking turkish delight! I like the flavoured ones too, rhurbarb and ginger is probably my favourite of those but I really enjoy plum and vanilla too. Always with lemonade for me, I'm not a fan of tonic water at all. We should probably branch out and try other mixers - prosecco sounds a good option. The problem is I'm a lightweight and would probably pass out after one drink!

I don’t mind which gin it is really, for me it is the Fever Tree tonic that makes the difference. I like Brockmans, Tanqueray, Whitley Bay. Have tried a few from Aldi and Lidl that are nice.
Don’t try the Aldi sugar cane gin though, it tastes like mouthwash ! I usually just have lemon, lime or a few raspberries with lots of ice. In fact I may now just pour myself one ready for Jays quiz ! |

I love the sound of these. Where do you get rose lemonade from please? I’ve never heard of it.

I don’t like Gin that has been sweetened, note a lot of these are not Gin.
I like Tanquery10, squeeze of pink grapefruit, 50% Gin, 50% Tonic. My favourite is Monkey 47, basil and again 50/50 split. Edited at 08:34 PM. |
