Old tv shows/series

My mind wandered whilst reading the tv/film chat. I got to thinking about some of my favourite shows when I was a child/teen in the eighties.

A couple that sprung to mind were Moonlighting and Sapphire and Steel. I had a quick look online (netflix, amazon and sky) and Sapphire and Steel is on sky! No sign of Moonlighting anywhere.

There were so many good tv series. Also loved the Goodies. There are probably hundreds more.

May need to think of more if they don't start making more now as I think I've watched just about everything on netflix since lock down!

I loved Moonlighting. Also American Gothic (slightly later, 1995, with Gary Cole). I took the plunge and picked up the Beauty and the Beast (with Ron Pearlman) box set at the beginning of the year but haven't managed to watch that yet.

Midnight Caller was another one. They all had great theme tunes and cheesy acting :-)

Its always worth having a cheeky look on YouTube for any old shows you might want to see again. It is often surprising how much is on there!

I'm currently working with the pilot episode of moonlighting on in the background... Bruce Willis looks so young!
