Magic Bands refund

How did anyone go about getting a refund (if possible) for the upgraded Magic Bands. I read somewhere that these would be automatically refunded but not yet received anything.

If I need to contact Disney, which number / email did you use please.

We didn’t need to contact anyone. Ours was automatically refunded about 2 weeks after we amended our original booking.

I emailed Shop@disneyparks.com after a refund didn't automatically arrive. I had a response the same day and the refund went through 3 days later

I used the shop email and got no answer

Then I tried to reply to the original email they sent confirming the order.
They replied and got the refund in around 5 days - odd thing is my band is still showing as an active band on my account.

I used the contact is form on the website and selected “merchandise” as my topic. I had a reply confirming refund a couple of days later.

This was some weeks after I cancelled hotel, it did d not happen automatically in my case.

We were due to fly 9th April and had upgraded bands. I didn’t contact anyone but finally had an email last week stating that they were being refunded.
