How far to a beach with good parking
If we wanted a day out at a beach, how far away are we from one with good parking and good access for someone using a scooter.

Clearwater Beach, park by Pier 60. The sea front walk is wheelchair friendly as is the pier its self. and I believe you can hire beach wheelchairs there too.

how far depends on where you are staying.
By beach access do you mean a beach the scooter can go on, so with hardpacked sand? |

Thank you, the beach at clearwater pier 60 looks great, good parking and a selection of boat trips.

The beaches on the Gulf Coast are stunning. Try to take a drive along and watch the sunset if you can.

My preferred choice would be Siesta Key near Sarasota - about 2 hours from WDW. Don't know about scotter accress though.
