4 Month Old - Which DVC Resort?
We are expecting our second child at the end of January and while in Spain last week the wife thought it was a good idea to book flights for the end of May 2018
So, with owning at the Poly and having only stopped at the Poly, AK and SSR since buying in, which resort would you think is the best option with a 4 month old baby ... other DD is 6 if that makes any difference.

Location: The Tiki Room.

SSR. Main reason being there are a 3 pools with zero entry so great for a young baby you will be carrying - dont want to trip.
Huge areas and Disney Springs within easy walking distance with the stroller if you need to get the baby to sleep during the day. However Disney332 makes a valid point with BLT, in fact any resort on the Monorail loop. So handy with a stroller, but BLT is even better as it's a nice stroll to the MK.

Congratulations! I'm expecting baby 3 at the end of January and I was the wife who thought it was a good idea to book for the end of April 😉😀
We are staying Boardwalk for 11 nights and BLT for 10 nights mainly because they are our favourite resorts - we like being able to walk to Epcot and DHS and then MK from BLT. We also tend to get a theme park view at BLT so we still get to watch Wishes (or HEA as it will be next visit!) from our balcony without keeping the children up late in the parks. When we go in April 2018 our other 2 children will be 4 and 2.5 years old

If you're going to do park time, I'd say BLT too

I'd opt for Boardwalk area or monorail area. If you like magic kingdom (which I assume with a 6 year old you do) then BLT has the advantage of location but the Studios are very small. I wouldn't want to have a cot in there as well.

Thanks for all the replies.
BLT would be our first choice this time around simply because of where it is and what's around it but the smaller room is a negative and the also the chances of actually getting it might be slim too. We stayed at SSR earlier in the year but got moved half way through due to the state of the room so it has put us off a little. We have booked the Poly anyway just in case but want to try out all the resorts overtime.

I would go with what suits the rest of your party as a 4 month old will fit in fairly easily. We did AoA on cash in June when DD2 was 4 months. We opted for lazy mornings then back to the hotel for dinner time rather than an afternoon break. The girls slept in the buggy and we kept them cool with regular trips to the shops and baby care.
