Thanks, we are flying and getting the train down. But will still look into it.

This chart will give you an idea of the discounts and benefits. If you want EMH you'll need one of the top 2 passes. The infinity pass gives you 365 days of access, the other passes do have blackout dates, but if you stay onsite you don't need to worry about those. It's cheaper to buy over the phone and ask for the price in £ Infinity is £312 and Magic Plus £192, they send you a temp pass which needs exchanging within 6 months. Or you can actually pay monthly if you wanted by doing it online or once you arrive. More info can be found here disneylandparis/annual-passports/

I did hear that blackout dates were going to apply to APs soon - anyone seen anything?
Also EMH is changing from October to 1 hour but in both parks. Not all rides are open (and there will only be Fantasyland open from October). For us, we think we could work round the blackout dates and EMH is becoming less of a deal breaker.

Blackout dates don't apply when staying onsite, this is a hotel perk, not just for AP holders but say if you bought tickets from somewhere else and booked the onsite hotel through Expedia, you'll get access to the park by showing the Hotel EasyPass

I know that's how it is currently - but I'm sure I read somewhere that they were going to remove this perk soon, and AP holders would be subject to blackout dates even if staying onsite.
Can't remember where I read it now, unfortunately.

No, it's not true. Why would you stay onsite if the blackout date still stands? They would lose too much money if they stopped it
