Split stay Disney/IDrive Ticket issue
I've booked for 2018 via Virgin, 7 nights AKL followed by I Drive hotel.
We bought 14 day for 7 Disney tickets as part of booking. I linked my reservation on MDE but notice the park tickets are showing as 14 for 7 but that they are "valid through" the date we check out of Disney (after 7 days) I called Disney who said once we activate tickets at check in they will switch to 14 day tickets but we won't be able to book FP for the last 7 days due to this I've called Virgin who were meant to be calling Florida and ringing me but I've not heard anything. Does anyone have any experience/ fixes?

I had something along the same lines recently, not sure if it's exactly the same as you.
We have the same split, 7 at POP and 7 elsewhere. I could book the FPs for the first 7 days at 60 days but nothing beyond that, which was fair enough at that time. I booked tickets directly through Disney (USA) and had 10 day passes. Like you, the expiry date was showing as the day of check out which had me worried, but bizarrely within a few days I could book FP for the entire 10 days. Not sure at what point they actually became bookable but at the very latest it was 60 days from check out date. Odd, but thankfully all worked out fine and thankfully we had booked the majority of our Disney days for our first week, the additional days were more for anything we wanted to do again so wasn't overly worried. |
