Those who have booked with Travelup

Just reading my booking again and noticed a line that says it is our responsibility to re confirm our inbound flight 72 hours in advance with the airline.

Bit odd as we have a confirmed e ticket ? Has anyone else actually done this ?

I've read this before when I've booked third party but never have. I think it's just covering them in case something operational happens. I might be wrong, but I wouldn't give it any more thought. I'm pretty sure I read this too when I booked with Expedia and Orbitz too. Out of interest, has any of us who booked those flights with Travelup flown yet

We are here at the moment and flew with AA via PHL on and booked via Travel Up. Got a email other day advising of flight time change on way home it's 10 mins earlier but had to confirm that I accepted the change before I could print off the new tickets. I wondered about the 72 hours as we are on a cruise so won't be able to contact them in any case.

Hi Amanda

We've booked with TravelUp a few times and have never reconfirmed - once we've had the eticket I assume I'll do the checking myself!

We are due to fly on our BA code share flights via travel up on Monday ! So far all looks good

Morning all

Thanks. It's the sort of thing I would fret about all blimmin holiday if I didn't ask!

As we have pre booked our seats and can see it all on the VA website, I did think it a bit odd to have to re confirm the flight again.

We booked via travelup in 2015, we had an outbound time change which i had to comfirm like PP said before they would issue new e-ticket, inbound i just checked in online 24 hours before, never reconfirmed anything
