Very simple once you've linked your bank card to it.
I'd make sure it was around £100 in credit and so wouldn't need to try to top up when out.
My husband took it to KSC on a boys trip out and was happily signing for it. I knew where he was eating breakfast as my phone had an alert.

Lovely fingers crossed it will come in time, most of our time we will be charging to the magic bands so it's just something to load to to pay off at the end and some off site purchases

Just kicking myself as I thought everything was sorted until I noticed the card expired at the end of this month and I had logged into the account recently so presumed it was still active!

The Monzo app uses location services on your phone so will see when you are in the US. It also prompts you (I was offered the opportunity to activate mag stripe ATM authentication for 24hr periods if needed as not all ATMs have chip auth yet).

It's very good as a back-up to Clarity, you just need a data connection when topping-up.

Using Monzo for the first time this trip - very easy to use, and been impressed so far. Also the VERY bright orange colour means it is quite difficult to misplace!

They are very fast sending out the cards, mine took an extra day to what they said but I'm in NL and it got to me in 3 days iircc. Very good reviews.

dead easy. you top up anytime anywhere with the app and it appears instantly
