I have just looked at their web site and it says they are TTA and ATOL protected...but they didn't have ABTA. This information is shown at the very bottom of their home web page.

Just wanted to clarify a few things here, as you've also asked.

Firstly we are a young company. All holidays booked with Holiday Floridas are ATOL protected. This protection is provided to you under ATOL number 10300 which is a group ATOL of TTAFS Limited which means we are authorized to book ATOL Protected flights and holidays providing the customer 100% financial protection.

In regards to the TTA, as you may have read on Travel Trust website as well, all monies paid by you or any customer is deposited into a trust account which is managed by the TTA and at no point is accessed by your travel agent which in this case is Holiday Floridas. It will also interest you that TTA then pays the airline, hotel suppliers, and/or any other suppliers from this account and only pay back the travel agent, Holiday Floridas their Admin costs upon your return from your holiday.

Hence, you are not only secure financially through the ATOL protection but also through various other Supplier Failure Insurances in place which ensure that your money and holiday is 100% secure against any unforeseen circumstances.

We would like to once again assure you that when you book a holiday with us, you can be rest assured that your money is safe and that we as a company will always ensure your holiday goes as per the plan.

Upon booking, you will be issued with an Invoice & ATOL certificate detailing your holiday details and financial protection. For your peace of mind, we will also provide you with as many references as possible for the various booking components, authenticity of which can be verified very easily through the web.

I have also received a good price on a Florida stay next year, but very unsure whether to book with them or not... they have come in at nearly £500 less than our usual rep who we have used for years, although the higher quote does include a full insurance, comp car insurance and a couple of discount vouchers, but for the sake of £500 is it worth the risk?
