Volcano Bay

Our DD 22yrs has mobility issues and walks with crutches for a limited time , then gets into her wheelchair. We are curious about Volcano Bay and will have ticket to go there. Interested to here how easy it is to get around ?

Hi 👋 I'm not long back and we visited volcano bay my ds is a full time wheelchair user and we managed ok! The only few niggles we found were the signage for wheelchair users wasn't great we followed the sign at the front of the volcano for wheelchairs but it brings you to a dead end & sand? Whoever thought that up obv has no clue! We did find a path around the left hand side of the park that took us to a ramp that allowed us down to the front water area of the volcano! The only other issue we had was they had no sand wheelchairs they just said you have to use your own chair! Again not great considering the damage you cud do to the chair ref the water and the front castors! We basically parked up and between myself & dh lifted ds (17) onto the waters edge! Did get some funny looks but hey ho😊 If ur daughter can weight bear all will b fine for her we def would go back! Enjoy!

Bumping this up as I'm in slightly similar situation, and wondering if anyone else has further experiences of share.
I've been considering giving it a miss and just staying at the hotel whilst rest of family go, but they're disappointed I'm thinking of not going.
