Tipping
Hi
Can anyone tell me what is the tipping culture in DLP. Are we required to tip housekeeping and wait staff? I've not given it much thought until now, we go end of September and DD has asked to make the mouskeeping envelopes like we do for WDW.

Unlike the USA, There's no requirement to tip in France.
By law the prices on menus have to include the full service charge so tips are not expected. edit: adding extra info Edited at 03:54 PM. |

I was a waitress in Paris many years ago. The waiting staff DO NOT get the service charge. This is used to make up their wages. Usually minimum wage. Not your problem I know, but I would always tip 10% for good service, same as at home. I usually leave a couple of euro for housekeeping, that'd be all.
