cyclops Sequoia/Newport/new york

We haven't been for eight years

I ❤️ sequoia during Christmas season and like the theme

We ❤️ New York but not sure if needs updating. On the plus side it is so close to the park

We ❤️ Newport and I think all rooms have had an update but the furthest of the three

For anyone who has gone recently which would you stay at

Two adults in September

Thank you

Love Sequoia and so far, it would always be our choice. We've stayed in Cheyenne, Santa Fe, Sequoia and DLH. For us, Sequoia is that 'sweet spot' where, if budget allows, we can be close to the parks in a lovely setting.

Next time we are staying at NPB which looks amazing after its refurb. Will it become our new favourite? Don't know. Sequoia is just that bit nearer to walk and not so big.

Never stayed in HNY. I would be tempted to if there are some really good deals before it closes in autumn 2018 for its major refurb.

We have only stayed at NPB but OMG it's an amazing hotel since the refurb!

I always thought NPB was closer than Sequoia? It looks like it when walking anyways!

NPB Compass Club.
We have been completely and utterly spoilt this week.
Wondering if I can claim squatters rights and not hand my key back tomorrow

i've stayed at both NPB and Sequoia, I also thought the NPB was a closer walk to the Village than the SL, but the grounds entrance/exit of the SL brings you out at the footbridge right next to the lake entrance of the HNY, so the SL is actually closer to the Village walking, than the NPB is.

We stayed at Sequoia Golden Forest last year and are doing the same this year. We love the theming of the hotel and the extras that you get with GF. Newport Bay looks lovely as well, but the New York Hotel has never appealed to us.

Do you get any alcohol in compass club?

Is it a huge amount more than a normal room?

At the moment I'd do Newport because it's been the most recently refurbed.

It doesn't include alcohol but does include soft drinks, hot drinks and snacks (in the afternoon). Also still includes breakfast which you have to pay for these days in standard rooms.

It will be (but so will standard). Hot breakfast is offered as standard at all resorts except Cheyenne and Santa Fe.
