Late September flights 2017~so annoying 👎🏻👎🏻
From Newcastle; specifically 29/9
The current price is over £750 for 1 week But from Glasgow or Manchester sooooo much cheaper Does anyone think they'll reduce the price? Or will it just keep rising? I realise no one knows for sure (aside from thomson! ) However-id really appreciate dibbers thoughts. Edited at 10:31 PM. |

I am guessing its to do with whats available and a bit of a gamble as well. We booked our holiday for late October and when looking at prices it was cheaper to fly from Glasgow than London. I live in Scotland so it was ideal. I am travelling with a friend based in London and we thought it would be cheaper for me to travel to them to fly together in the end it was cheaper for them to come here!

Newcastle is pretty much 30 mins away from me but have always ended up flying from Manchester due to the price difference.
In 2016 we flew from Manchester, stayed overnight and parked the car and this was still over £400 cheaper. Looking at Manchester again for next year too. Such a shame. I have been watching the flights for this year and they seem to average about £50-£60 per person cheaper for Manchester than Newcastle. I do think they might reduce as last year with a month to go the September flights were quite cheap - but still Manchester led the way with price. I guess it's just down to how late you can leave it and do you fancy the drive home which is always a killer for me! Good luck!

It's so unfair for prices to differ so dramatically Especially when we have the Thomson flight or the Thomson flight to choose from; and clearly that's why -but I'm still moaning about it |

Have you tried booking it as a holiday? Often you get a better price with the hotel, it's £522pp for 2 wks flying that date.

I was in our local Tomas Cooks a number of weeks ago. I was with a relative looking at a holiday else where. The agent in Thomas Cook said that they expected to see really good deals flying to Manchester especially round Sept/Oct time and the reason for this is that many of the planes are kept at Manchester and this results on very good prices on flights to Orlando. She said that it was often cheaper to go to Orlando than it was to Spain because of the deals so that might explain it!
